How does the HuntFlix Unlimited Hunting DVD program work?
The HuntFlix Unlimitd Hunting DVD program is designed to be easy to use and simple to manage. No going to the video store, standing in line, or "buying blind" at the sporting goods store!
Here's how it works:
1. First, go to www.huntflix.com, and click on the "Start Free Trial" button. Follow the online instructions to create an account, and select which plan best fits your viewing habits.
2. Next, browse the extensive Huntflix library, using the "Categories" or "Studio" boxes on the left-hand side or by scanning through the "Featured Products" or "New DVDs" boxes in the center of the screen. When you see a title you would like to see, click the
button and it willl be added to your Rental Queue.
3. We'll mail your selected DVDs right to your mailbox, by First Class Mail. Watch the videos as many times as you like. Don't worry about it! As long as you are a member, there are never any due dates, and no late fees!
4. When you're done, send them back in the same mailer that they came in. HuntFlix pays the return postage as well.
|
|
You don't have a particular video I would like to see. Can you add it to your library?
At HuntFlix we go out of our way to bring you the very best hunting and related videos available. If we missed something, please let us know and we will add it to our lineup immediately, provided it is available on DVD. At the bottom of the left info column, there is a box entitled “Request a Video.” Type the title you are looking for there and give us as much information as possible, such as title, production company, approximate year of release, etc. This will speed up our search and get it into your hands that much faster.
|
Why don't you rent VHS tapes?
Unfortunately, postage costs and loss due to breakage and wear make it impossible for HuntFlix to offer hunting videos on video tape (VHS). Also, most production companies are no longer putting their titles onto VHS.

What about buying DVDs? Do I have to be a member to purchase from HuntFlix?
No. To purchase any item from HuntFlix, simply click the "Buy It!" button in the item description. This will place the item in your shopping cart. Once you have finished shopping, click on "Check Out" at the top of the Shopping Cart. You will be asked to imput shipping and payment information, but you are not creating a rental subscription.
Members do receive periodic coupons to be used for purchases from HuntFlix. Also, members can earn free weeks for referring their friends to HuntFlix. These can add up to big savings!
|
|
What if two titles are included on a single disc?
If two distinct titles are packaged together on two discs, they will be listed separately and can be selected independently of one another. Of course, if you want to purchase one of these titles, you will get both for the indicated price.
If two titles are packaged together on a single disc, they will be listed together and will count as one disc out.

I have produced a video that would be great on HuntFlix! How do I get my video(s) on your site?
We are always looking to add new hunting, shooting & outdoor titles to our lineup. Even though you may have some great footage of your hunt, we cannot accept "home movies." If you have a professionally produced title on DVD that you would like us to evaluate, please send a copy to the address below. Please include your dealer price sheet and contact information.

P.O. Box 13692

How do I open the protective case that the disc is in?
To protect the disc during shipping, HuntFlix uses a protective case known as a “C-Shell.” Unlike typical DVD cases or CD jewel cases, the C-Shell opens by pressing the bump in the center of the disc. You can help the case open by pulling one of the sides as you push on the center button, but be sure not to flex the DVD and possibly render it unplayable.

How many videos can I check out at once?
That depends on your plan. If you signed up for the 4X plan, you can have up to four titles in your possession at once.
Lets say for example, that you signed up for the 4X plan. If you return one title back to us, we'll send out one more from your Rental Queue (the first available starting at the top of your queue). If you send back two videos, then we'll send you the next two available DVD's on your Rental Queue . . . and so forth. One way to maximize the number of videos you can watch in a given month is to stagger them. Instead of choosing 4 movies, watching them all, then sending them all back at the same time, send each movie back as soon as you're done with it. Chances are, you'll have a new one in the mailbox before you've finished the others!

How long can I keep a video?
You can keep a video for as long as you want without late fees, or any other penalties as long as you are a member! Watch it as many times as you like. When you're done, send it back and we'll send you the next video on your Rental Queue.

Why does the free trial offer only work on the one and two-at-a-time membership plans?
We at HuntFlix are happy to offer you a chance to try our service for free with no obligation. Its necessary, however, for us to limit the number of discs that are out that are not generating revenue.
Remember, you can change your plan at any time. You can initially sign up for the 2-out-at-a-time plan, taking advantage of the free 14 day trial, and then upgrade your plan to the 3 or 4-out-at-a-time plan.
|
If your free trial is really free, why do you require a credit card?
Unfortunately, people have been known to sign up for a free trial, have DVDs shipped, and then never return them. This drives up the cost of HuntFlix for all members and cannot be tolerated. In order for us to reduce fraud, we need a valid credit card to secure the account. Also, we are only able to ship rental DVDs to the billing address on the credit card used to secure the account.
|
| |
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at anytime by visiting the Contact Us page and asking us to cancel your membership. Please note that your account can NOT be fully cancelled if you have any videos checked out.
|
What day of the month will I get billed?
Your flat monthly membership fee (plus any applicable tax) is automatically billed on the monthly anniversary of your first charge. For example, if your first charge was on the 17th of the month, your next charge is on the 17th of the following month.
|
Should I wait until the first of the month to sign up? If I sign up mid-month, will the first charge be prorated?
There is no need to wait. Your flat monthly membership fee is automatically billed on the monthly anniversary of your first charge. For example, if your first charge was on the 17th of the month, your next charge is on the 17th of the following month.
|
Can I pay with a check or be billed in the mail?
No. We require a valid credit card for every HuntFlix Membership Plan, including all promotions. This is to verify account information, secure orders and prevent fraud.
|
|
Are there any places you won't ship to?
We only ship within the United States, which at this time includes APO and FPO addresses.
|
I am staying at a hotel or motel. Can I have my videos delivered to me there?
No. Unfortunately, HuntFlix is only able to ship rental DVDs to the billing address of the credit card used to secure the account. Due to losses, we feel it is in the best interests of HuntFlix and our members not to ship to hotels or other such transitional addresses.
|
How do you send my DVDs to me?
All of our rental discs are sent by First Class mail. Purchases will be shipped USPS First Class or Priority Mail.
|
|
How long will it take to get my videos?
When you have an open rental slot, we make every effort to ship your DVD as soon as inventory is available. Videos usually arrive within 2 to 4 days, but occasionaly some DVDs may take longer than 4 days to arrive because of postal delays.
Orders received on Sundays and holidays are processed the following business day.
|
|
Do I have to pay shipping?
No! We pay shipping both ways. The mailer that we send a disc to you in is designed to be used to return it to us as well. Simply remove the flap with your mailing label on it, and you will expose our address and prepaid return postage.
|
What if I receive a disc that won't play?
We are constantly working on finding the best possible way to protect our discs during shipping. When a disc is returned to HuntFlix, we inspect it for damage and repair or replace it if necessary. Despite this, occasionally, a disc will be damaged on its way to you. If you receive an unplayable DVD, please report it right away. We'll manually check it in and get another DVD out to you right away.
|
I lost the protective case which the DVD arrived in. What do I do?
If you lost the “c-shell” which the DVD arrived in, and do not have any c-shells of your own that you can use, you may place the disc in a CD jewel case or cardboard sleeve to return it to us. Please note that if the DVD is unplayable upon its return to HuntFlix, we will have to charge you for a replacement disc.
Alternately, you may opt to return the disc to us in a cardboard postal CD or DVD shipping box, and pay the postage yourself.
|
|
I lost the prepaid return envelope used for returning the DVD.
If you misplaced one of our prepaid return mailers, please package the DVD carefully and mail it to:
HuntFlix.com
P.O. Box 13692
Des Moines, WA 98198
|
What if I don't receive a title that you have sent?
We understand that things happen and sometimes the U.S. Postal Service can make mistakes. If a title we show as shipped never arrives, or one that you have placed in the mail does not show up as being checked in, please go to the Contact Us page to report the lost DVD.
If a pattern develops, we may be forced to suspend your account, pending a full investigation by postal authorities, and the fraud divisions of the related credit card companies.
|
|
What if I lose a title that I have received?
If you lose a title that we have sent you, go to the Contact Us page and report it as lost. HuntFlix will bill you for the replacement cost of the disc, and you will free up one of your rental slots. If you subsequently find the disc, it is yours to keep.
|
What is my "Rental Queue"?
Your Rental Queue is the list of movies you've selected to rent. You can update or edit your Rental Queue anytime. Initially, we'll send you the first available DVDs from your Rental Queue. When you're finished watching one of the DVDs you have out, send it back so we can ship the next available title from your Rental Queue. To rent a video, browse the HuntFlix site and click the
button next to any title. This title will be added to your Rental Queue.
To adjust the priority of videos, change the number in the Priority column and then click Update. It's also easy to change the priority of more than one movie at a time. Simply change the priority of as many movies as you want and then click Update Request List -- the site will make all the necessary changes. To remove videos from your Request List, check the Remove box next to any title.
|
Occasionally, I receive the second or third disc in my DVD Rental Que before the first. Why does this happen?
When you return a video or have an open slot in your Rental Queue, we make every effort to ship your first choice. To help you get the most out of your membership, if a title in a higher spot is out of stock, we'll send your next available in-stock title. This way, you will always have great DVDs on hand!
|
I sent back a DVD but never got the next one in my Rental Queue.
Once a title you return has been checked back into our inventory, you'll receive an email confirmation of its return. We'll then ship the next available title from your Rental Queue. You can always check the My Account page on the site to see whether we have received the movie you've returned. If 7-10 days pass, and you don't receive a confirmation email from us, please use the Contact Us page to report it as "already returned". We'll manually check it in and mark it as "LOST/MISSING." This will open up your next rental slot.
